Broad menu for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. There was only a single person hosting, cooking and serving when we went, but we did not experience any deficiency in service. Food is hit and miss with the soup and chicken being really good. As others have reported, the QR based ordering system is a little unpredictable since the quote does not scan.

My staple go-to restaurant when I stay in San Jose. The Chix Satay is grilled nicely and the peanut sauce is flavorful and creamy. I also enjoy the Pad Thai but be specific with the spice level you would like. I may also suggest adding slightly more sauce to the dish as it had been a little on the dry side at times.

We have ordered "Pad see ew" with tofu and "garlic lovers delight" with tofu. One of the best Thai places in Sunnyvale area! Hands down. Read for more details. I don't know why the place has low rating but we were pleasantly surprised. The pad see ew comes with abundance of tofu (fried), broccoli and carrots. The noodles are well seasoned and mixed together with eggs. The only suggestion is they should ask for spice level as I want my dishes a more spicy! The garlic lovers delight was a hoot and some more! Amazing curry made with black pepper and garlic. Very nicely season broth too. The dish comes with broccoli, carrot and choice of meat/tofu. Also it comes with side rice. Both the dishes were amazing! We will definitely go back as the service were also fast and the waitress was very cordial and nice. I don't know why the reviews are bad but I urge the nay-sayers to go and taste these dishes again if they didn't already. Definitely a must have Thai place.

A pretty decent Thai place. The Pad Thai was on the sweeter side, but the essential savoriness, sourness, and saltiness were all there, so it gets a pass. I neglected to order mine spicy so I can't comment on the heat level, but I'm willing to come back and try this place again to see if they can bring the real Thai spice. Tom Yum soup tasted pretty good! Overall, not a standout Thai place but it definitely checked all the boxes.

Even though the items I ordered weren't how I expected them, they were still pretty good. -The seafood tom ka soup and the pad see ew were the best of the items we ordered (if I came back, I'd ask them to add a whole fried egg for the pad see ew) -The thai basil ground pork and and crispy salmon in chili sauce were good, but I was hoping that it'd have more basil flavor. There was something off in the basil ground pork, I don't know how to describe it. And the salmon was sweeter than I had hoped. -The only dish I did not like was the nae num tok; I like the flavor of this dish but the beef they used was overcooked and too tough to enjoy Overall, I was pretty satisfied with my meal and will be back. This is one of the better thai restaurants that I have found in the San Jose area and look forward to trying some of their other dishes.

To tell you the truth.. I've been here several times over the past several years and I simply have been unable to really make up my mind with regards to how I felt about this place. To me, the biggest factor and contribution to getting their patronage is their location. If there were other decent Thai restaurants around.. then I would more than likely eat at those locations. So.. is this at the top of my list for Thai food if location was not a factor? No... but as far as if I'm craving Thai and since I work nearby.. yeah. The plus side is I tend to fulfill my cravings here for the most part.. Getting a nice delicious curry of sorts... or sometimes pad thai. Today on the other hand I was slightly adventurous and after reading some past reviews of the kee mao.. ended up getting that. On the menu, it is listed as a spicy dish... and for someone who orders it.. you would expect it to come out spicy.. like.. as default. That was not the case. It came out with essentially no heat at all.. and I just couldn't find the heart to say anything. It was still pretty delicious, but was definitely missing the flavor profile I was craving. I also ordered the Roti and it still is very delicious. Great flavors from the curry and the roti itself was nice, warm, and flaky. Perhaps today wasn't the best day to adventure off into the menu.. Gonna stick with curry perhaps next time. Good food regardless. Not my first choice, but if there's nothing really better in the area.. well...
